Dr. A.J. Smith graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1998. He lives in Barbourville with his wife, Kim. They have 4 kids and 6 grandchildren. Together they opened Barbourville Family Dental in 2001. Since then, the practice has grown to include several team members and a few thousand patients. He genuinely cares about his patients and their needs. The atmosphere of the office is a reflection of his heart and integrity. Outside of the dental office, you will likely find him on a tractor or playing with his daughter and grandbabies.
Dr. Randell “Barrett” Brewer grew up in London,Ky. He completed his education at the University of Kentucky School of Dentistry in 2023.
Dr. Annalee Adams grew up in Pineville, Ky. She completed her education at the University of Kentucky School of Dentistry in 2023.
Dr. Brian Gibbs grew up in Barbourville. He completed his education at the University of Kentucky School of Dentistry in 2023.
Judy has been with our office since the beginning! She is an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant and does a phenomenal job placing fillings along with her many other duties. She keeps us all in line and moving forward.
Charlotte has been with our office for more than a decade now! She has worked in the back for years but has recently transitioned to the front office. She works hard to make sure everything is in order.
Kim has been the Office Administrator since the office opened in 2001.
